Old-Scholars Achievements

Veronica Abrahamse achieved SA colours for Shotput in 2000. She paticipated in the All Africa games and Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games. Tamsyn Naylor recieved her u/18 SA colours for hockey in 2000.Brendan Nel recieved his SA colours for Clay Pigeon Shooting in 2000. Cam Schoeman recieved SA colours for Polo Cross in 2000. Paul-Robyn Smith recieved in 2000 a bronze medal in Gymnastics at SA competition. Brett Naylor playing in 2002 in a National Golf Tournament in the USA.  Ruan Gunter and JH van Rooyen junior Springbok anglers in 2002 .Ruan represented SA for a second time in 2003 and was the Tri-Nations Champion in angling. Jacqui Bentley who represented the SA Schools u/15 Tennis team in 2004 in Australia. Rhyno Beukes who took part in 2004 in the SA Championship Cycling for u/12 and recieved a Bronze medal. Courtney Halle who played for the SA u/21 men’s hockey team at the Junior World Cup in India and at the was also included in the Tokyo Olympic Squad. Fanie Fourie was elected in the 2006/7 season as captain for his Hucclecote rugby team in England. Jacques Else who represented South Africa in the Proteas team, at the WICF Indoor Cricket World Cup in Dubai. Fred Zeilinga who played for the Cheetahs, Sharks, and Springbok A-side against the French Barbarians. Carina Horn, the fastest woman in SA over 100m and 200m. She represented SA at the London and Rio Olympics. Jeandrè Labuschagne who represent  the Sharks Rugby Team in the United Rugby Championships. Zakithi Nene claimed the men’s 400m title at the ASA Senior Track & Field Championships and represented SA at the 2020 Summer Olympics. To name merely a few of our stars!
